There's been a lot a controversy in the media about VH1's "I love the 90s" since it's a little early to be nostalgic about the 90's.

Last night was just a big infomercial for Snapple.  One of the "analysts" is the gal that used to do the Snapple commercials.  Last night also has a segment on the Snapple fad.  To top it off, there were several Snapple commercials.

If that wasn't annoying enough,  a popup keeps coming up on your TV with a phone number to call to buy whatever the show is talking about at the moment.

I'm not naive and expect some commercialization from VH1, but "I love the 90s" is ridiculous!
