I'm listening to oldies on the radio right now, and just don't understand how Nancy Sinatra didn't become bigger than her dad. Come on, with lyrics like this, how could you go wrong?

You keep lying, when you oughta be truthin'
and you keep losin' when you oughta not bet.
You keep samin' when you oughta be changin'.
Now what's right is right, but you ain't been right yet.

I guess proper english wasn't in demand back then. The funny thing is Hank William's cover of the same song make Nancy's lyrics look less stupid.

You keep lying when you oughta be true then
And you keep loosin' when you ought enough bad
Now you keep a samin' when you oughta be changin'
Now what's right is right and honey you ain't been right yet
These boots are made for walkin'...

His lyrics don't even make sense. In case you couldn't tell, I'm kinda bored today.
